Rainy Day Picture
What You Need:
o Paper
o Cotton Balls
o Aluminum Foil
Activity :
Have your children make a rainy day picture by using cotton balls for clouds, small paper cut out rain drops, and aluminum foil lightning and puddles. These are really cute.
Idea:
Play weather CDs while your children are doing weather art.

Umbrella with rain
What You Need:
o Paper
o Rice
o Paint
Activity:
Have your children cut out umbrellas from different colored construction paper. Then have them draw someone holding the umbrella and put colored rice (color with alcohol and paint) as rain coming down on the person.
Blow Drier Art
What You Need:
o Thin Paint
o Paper
o Blow Drier
Activity:
Cover the floor and the wall with paper. Have your children drip thin paint in front of a blow drier or fan. They will enjoy watching the way the wind spreads the paint.

Windsock
What You Need:
o Paper Bags
o Streamers
o Paint
o Various Other Art Supplies
Activity:
Cut the end out of a paper bag. Next have your children paint the bag and decorate it any way that they want. Have them attach streamers to the end of the bag. On the other end of the bag punch two holes (reinforce with tape and then punch) and put yarn through it. Your children can now hang up their windsock and watch the wind blow through it.
Idea:
Put Clouds and paint in a bag and shake it. This makes a great item to use with an art project.
Clouds Pieces
What You Need:
o Paint
o Paper
Activity:
Give to the kids a precut Cloud piece (or let them cut their own) Let them add the features to really make it look like Clouds. These work great on a bulletin board like "Popping into summer" etc.
Clouds Collage
What You Need:
o Colored Glue (paint or food coloring mixed with glue)
o Paper
o Clouds
Activity:
Provide your children with many different colors of glue. Let them basically paint a picture with the glue (glue must be thick enough to hold Clouds) and then have them press Clouds onto the painted parts. This makes a wonder, cute, and creative collage look!
All about the Sky
What You Need:
o Paper plates
o Blue Sand
o Glitter
o Cotton balls
Activity:
Let children paint glue on the paper plates, add cotton balls for clouds and shake blue sand on as well as glitter. Ask the children to tell you about their picture, print their words and put on black background with plate. Hang on a bulletin board labled "All about the sky."

Cotton Clouds
What You Need:
o Paper
o Paint
o Glitter
o Cotton Balls
Activity:
Have the children glue cotton for the clouds and using there fingers dip them in paint to make rain drops under their clouds and then sprinkle glitter on the raindrops to make them sparkle and stick out.
